This week Muskogee County Commissioners said they are supporting improvements that are now being made at Robinson Park. Work is now underway on the second phase of the development at the park. Commissioners are supporting the application of an Oklahoma Trail grant which the cityu of Muskogee is trying to acquire. The city would use the grant to extend the one mile trail and add benches and also a drinking fountain.
Muskogee City Councilors this week unanimously approved an increase in the city's employee contributions to the city health plan. The changes include a 15 percent increase in deductibles and out of pocket health care costs. The present health care plan was adopted in 1990.
